Washington Monument Damage

The topic is the damage done to the Washington Monument after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake. I would say the angle is from the engineer who inspected it. Human intrest is The criteria... it is intersting to me. Footage of the earquake and hurricane and footage of the cracks and water inside of it. and footage of the meeting they had about the damage done to it.

Falling NASA Satalite

One of NASA's old satalites is falling it will be the biggest uncontrolled falling object from nasa to fall out of the outer space in 32 years. its expected to hit sometime tomorow there hoping it will land in the Pacific Ocean but they are not sure on the exact time or the exact place where it will land. there hoping it will be in the water somewhere because the earth is 73% water. It is a six ton satalite that died officials say that it will not be passing over north america at all. they say 26 peices should survive on account for 1,200 pounds of the 6 ton weight. the biggest peice weighing over 300 pounds they say peices could scatter for up to a 500 mile radius of the crash zone.

Sloth roaming streets

a sloth was found roamimg the streets of paris last weekend. they thought it had escaped from the local zoo but they do not have any information about an escaped sloth. it was then run over by a city bus. it was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

she was a black girl who had to take a test to see which african americans could get into the white schools. she was choosen and she was assigned to a school where she was the only african american going to. she lived in new orleans her first day was november 14, 1960. i was a big event there was a big crowd there.

State review questions online learning in minnesota

The office of the Legilative Auditor says that an estimated 20,000 students took at least one online course during the 2010-2011 school year. They say that it is ineffective for students who take the class full time. they made less progress on state math test than students in school. but the kept pace with kids in reading. they say the dropout rate for online students is up 25 percent. the non question question is asking a question without phrasing it as a question just talking about something and then bringing up the topic you want to discuss. be silent after you ask a question to see if they keep talking.

jonesboro shootings

It was a middle school shooting by 2 students 13 year old mitchell johnson and 11 year old andrew golden.
5 people were killed 4 female students and 1 teacher. 10 people were injured 9 students 1 teacher the shooters were hidden in the forest dressed in camo. they pulled the fire alarm and shot when people came out. I would tell the story from the kids point of view.

Mcdonalds Gas Leak

Carbon Dioxide used to carbonate pop at a mcdonalds in va was leaked in to the womens resstroom. 10 people were sickened from it and 1 woman died the next day. I dont understand why they do not have detectors in there store. I also dont get how no one noticed it had been leaking for 2 days i would think someone would have complained about their pop being flat.

Angel

detectives now relased some evidence from the baby that was fount in the river on labor day. They named her angel becasue she was found with 3 porcelian angels in the same bag. the bag was canvas it was from some popular tourist town in mexico. she was also found with a t shirt and she was wrapped in a plactic bag that said keep away from children and babies to avoid suffocating.

Opening activity for today

I think this will wok because it has worked on facebook. I do not think it will be as popular as facebook tho because more people go on facebook.you can also I.M. with friends on facebook while gaming and do many other things without logging on to a different website. People are already going on facebook to do what they do on there so they might as well play some games while there at it.

9/11 Warmup

I watched 2020 last night it was about 9/11 widows and kids whose dads died in the attack. It was showing how life goes on for all of them even after something tramatic happened like that. They were all having fun and they were talking about how well their lives were going. There was also 2 people on there who had pictures taken during the attacks with Police Officers or Firefighters helping them and they got reunited with the people that helped them get out of the World Trade Centers.

Opening Activity

Percy Harvin is returning to the vikings after being injured. He will now be able to return some more kickoffs for touchdowns. Now maybe the vikings will be able to kick some ass again. but now Donovan Mcnabb may not be playing due to a wrist injury. I am sick of professional athlets getting hurt they are wimps the get payed millons of dollars to play and they will hardly ever play anymore.

A Swedish man heard a roaring in his neighbors garden. He went over and saw a drunk moose was stuck in an apple tree she got drunk from eating too many fermented apples. He than called the police the freed it but it was confused and slept in the garden for a while.
